Volo Noscere is an online salon run by Whitney Dinneweth. The phrase is Latin for “I wish to know.” It was the magical motto of chemist and occultist George Cecil Jones.

What is the occult?
The word “occult” comes from the Latin word “occultus,” meaning “hidden.” According to John Michael Greer, an occultist studies the invisible causes of visible things.

While there is continuity between meetings, the focus is on practical work which requires no previous experience. Feel free to jump in.
Can I access recordings of previous events?
If you purchased a ticket to attend a live event, you should receive the link to the recording as soon as it’s available. If you’re interested in an event you haven’t purchased and already happened, there’s an archive.

Is Volo Noscere a school / order?
No.
What are your cancellation / refund policies?
Tarot clients may cancel or reschedule up to 12 hours in advance of any appointment. If a client isn’t present 15 minutes after their start-time, they are considered a no-show. Refunds are not offered when a client misses an appointment.
For other meetings, the host reserves the right to remove anyone deemed disruptive according to the host’s discretion alone. Refunds are not offered to those removed.
